Intel has recently launched its 45W Tiger Lake-H processors in the market, and for the first time, they really look convincing and power-efficient as promised. Its new Intel Core i7-11800H seems to be a good competitor to AMD’s Ryzen 7 5800H based on Zen 3 architecture.

Finally, gamers are getting great performance from both Intel and AMD without having to sacrifice om efficiency. Now, we will see a wide range of comparisons between these Intel and AMD chips flooding the internet and one of them being this CPU-Z benchmark comparison:

As you see, the new Intel Core i7-11800H, with all its 8 cores and 16 threads along with a boost clock speed up to 4.60 GHz, looks good in the single-core benchmark as it manages to score 615 points. Also, if you note that this is the first time Intel has used a whopping 24 MB cache memory on its laptop chip.

Whereas the AMD Ryzen 7 5800H, also with its 8 cores & 16 threads, comes with up to 4.4GHz along with 20MB combined cache. The lower cache and boost clocks have made AMD score 585 points in single-core but in multi-core, AMD still scores 6015, thanks to its efficiency, while Intel is not behind by much, scoring 5802 points.
