Entry-level Amazon Prime membership prices increased

Amazon has silently announced a hike in the membership fee for Amazon Prime in India. Starting at Rs 299, the new price is a significant increase from the previous cost of Rs 179, which was valid until December 2021. However, those who already have subscribed to annual plans do not need to worry because they remain unchanged.

A dedicated sports tab and icon-based navigation are part of Amazon's update to the Prime Video interface

The monthly Prime membership cost has been raised by Rs 120, while the quarterly membership will now cost Rs 599, compared to the previous price of Rs 459. However, the yearly Amazon Prime membership price remains unchanged at Rs 1,499, while the Annual Prime Lite plan is still available at Rs 999.
