Originally announced in CES 2020, the new XPS laptops from Dell finally make its way to India and is now available to purchase via Amazon. These laptops feature the latest 10th Gen Ice Lake CPUs and a breathtaking 16:10 display with almost no bezels and being thin and light, these laptops are ideal for business and professional use as well.
Dell XPS 13 9300
The laptop features a 13.4-inch display with resolution up to UHD+(3,840 x 2,400 pixels) with peak 500 nits of brightness. The display has 1500:1 contrast ratio, 178-degree viewing angle, and an insane 91.5% screen-to-body ratio!
Being powered by the latest 10th gen Intel Core processors, you can configure your laptop with Intel Core i3 (1005G1) to all the way up to quad-core Intel Core i7 (1065G7) processor. It is coupled with up to 32GB of LPDDR4X RAM and Intel Iris Plus graphics.
For storage, you get options up to 2TB PCIe (3×4) SSD and this slim laptop is equipped with a huge 52WHr battery that can be juiced up using a 45W AC adapter via a Type-C port. The standard Dell XPS 13 runs on Windows 10 and the Developer Edition runs on Ubuntu 18.04 as Linux is still the most preferred OS for devs.
Also, the Dell XPS 13 features a dual 2.5W stereo speakers with Waves MaxxAudio Pro tuning, along with latest Killer Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5 wireless connectivity. The keyboard is a lot smaller and there remains lesser space between the keys but last gen’s maglev keyboard has been removed to offer tactile feedback.

Dell XPS 15 9500
The new XPS 15 features a 15.6-inch 4-sided InfinityEdge FHD display, making it look even more stunning. The display has 16:10 aspect ratio with up to UHD+ (3840 x 2400) resolution options along with 100% Adobe RGB & 94% DCI-P3 color gamut support.
Both of the FHD and UHD display panels are Dolby Vision-certified and features Dell’s Eyesafe display technology that helps to reduce harmful blue light while maintaining vivid colour for comfort with long use sessions.
Also, the poor webcam placement has been resolved, with an HD webcam discretely placed on the top bezel with IR camera that supports faster Windows Hello login. The Dell XPS 15 9500 features a top-firing speaker setup with speaker grills made out of 4,532 laser-drilled holes.
Coming to the hardware, the XPS 15 9500 features a wide range of 10th Gen Intel Comet Lake-H CPUs including the Core i5-10300H, Core i7-10750H, Core i7-10875H, and the Core i9-10885H. So, you get options from quad-core to all the way up to 8 cores on a laptop which is so sleek and lightweight.
This comes coupled with RAM options ranging from 8 GB to 64 GB of dual-channel 2,933 MHz 2x SO-DIMMs. For storage, you get options ranging from 256 GB to 2 TB NVMe SSD. On the graphics front, you can either opt for the integrated Intel UHD graphics or the discrete NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650 Ti Max-Q with 4 GB GDDR6 memory.
