A new AMD Zen 4 and RTX 40 series gaming laptop from ASUS, the ROG Zephyrus G14 (2023), has been unveiled. In addition to being available with a choice of three displays, the new ROG Zephyrus G14 boasts a tonne of connections and can support up to 32 GB of DDR5 RAM.
The ROG Zephyrus G14, a small gaming laptop from ASUS, has been unveiled for 2023. As suggested by its name, the ROG Zephyrus G14 still has a 14-inch display. The ROG Zephyrus G14 will be offered with a choice of three panels this year, per an ASUS press release:
ROG Nebula HDR QHD+ (2,560 x 1,600)

Additionally, ASUS has included up to 32 GB of DDR5-4800 RAM in this year’s ROG Zephyrus G14, evenly distributed between onboard memory and one expandable SO-DIMM port. The ROG Zephyrus G14 (2023) has a 76 Wh battery that drives twin woofers, tweeters, and an RGB-backlit chiclet keyboard.
It will also be available with up to 1 TB of PCIe 4.0 storage. ROG Zephyrus G14 (2023) offers many ports including 2x USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A, 1x USB 4.0 Type-C with DisplayPort 1.4 and Power Delivery, 1x USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C with DisplayPort 1.4, 1x HDMI 2.1, 1x 3.5 mm jack, 1x MicroSD (UHS-II) and 1x DC-in.
The NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4090 and AMD Ryzen 9 Zen 4 APU combination is arguably the ROG Zephyrus G14’s best-selling feature this year. The former has 16 GB of GDDR6 RAM and a 125 W TGP with Dynamic Boost, even if ASUS has not yet given all the information on this hardware setup.
When and how much the ROG Zephyrus G14 (2023) will cost has not been made official by ASUS. With an AniMe Matrix and Mini LED panel, the laptop’s weight and dimensions increase to 1.72 kg and 312 x 227 x 19.5 mm from their initial 1.65 kg and 312 x 227 x 18.5 mm values.
