The Gunners have launched their home kit for the upcoming 2020-21 season and they retain their classic red and white color scheme. However, there some unique accents in the red color which makes the jersey much more vibrant and new.
Also, if you notice, the Emirates logo has been changed slightly. After beating Manchester City and Liverpool last week we are looking at a new and promising Arsenal team under Mikel Arteta and so they will mark the occasion with a brand-new collection of shirts from Adidas.
This new 2020-21 jersey collection marks the second home kit under Arsenal’s new deal with Adidas, who took over Puma back in the 2019-20 season. There’s a slightly darker red base along with the traditional white sleeves and a lot of minor touches, giving a new look to the traditional feel of the jersey.
The subtle geometric patterns on the dark red base have been inspired by the old art deco ‘A’ feature of kits in the 1930s. Also if you notice that now the jersey comes with white-capped sleeves.
The chevrons on the darker red base face east and west, a deliberate attempt to follow the directions of the cannon that has faced on the badge, combining the past and present. Being launched today, the new home jersey is available via Arsenal’s store directly in most of the countries across the globe including India as well and it will available via Adidas and Arsenal store only until the 29th of July.
There two variants of the home jersey – one being the authentic player jersey which costs ₹9,900 and the other being the normal fan jersey available for ₹5,950, also you can customize with your name and number or opt for any of your favorite player’s jersey as well.
