## What Is the Film About?

The story opens at the bustling port of **Barcelona**, where a young woman is discovered unconscious inside a shipping container — bound, gagged, and with no memory of who she is or how she got there. As she recovers in hospital, someone makes an immediate attempt on her life, raising the stakes dramatically.

Enter **Detective Anna Ripoll** and **Officer Quique Zárate**, who must race against the clock to uncover this mysterious woman’s identity and the dangerous secrets buried deep in her fractured mind — before the killer gets to her first. The premise is tight, urgent, and genuinely unsettling. Think *The Innocent* meets *God’s Crooked Lines*, shot against the moody backdrop of Spain’s coastlines.

## The Marked Woman : A Cast That Commands Attention

The film brings together some of Spain’s most acclaimed screen talent. **Candela Peña** (*The Asunta Case*) leads as Detective Anna Ripoll — a casting choice that immediately signals serious dramatic intention. **Ana Rujas** (*La Mesías*) plays the titular marked woman, while **Pol López** (*See You in Another Life*) completes the investigative trio as Officer Zárate.

Fans of *Money Heist* will also recognise **Luka Peros** (Marseille himself) in a supporting role, alongside **Manolo Solo** (*Pan’s Labyrinth*) and **Kira Miró** (*Alpha Males*).

Behind the camera, director **Gabe Ibáñez** brings his signature atmospheric tension, while the screenplay from **Lara Sendim** carries the same sharp instincts she demonstrated in *God’s Crooked Lines*. Most notably, the production company **K&S Films** — responsible for both *The Eternaut* and *Wild Tales* — guarantees a level of craft and ambition that sets this apart from the average streaming thriller.
