India is one of the biggest markets for OTT platforms around the globe, and the companies know it very well. So, they all are competing with each other to grab a maximum quantity of the Indian market and for that, they are looking for different strategies.
We all know, Netflix is one of the popular video streaming platforms here. It, to expand the reachability, now enables the Hindi language for the interface. So, Netflix has a total of 27 global language support now. Netflix is not the only one, other OTT platforms like Amazon Prime Video already have ‘Hindi’ interface support.
“Delivering a great Netflix experience is as important to us as creating great content. We believe the new user interface will make Netflix even more accessible and better suit members who prefer Hindi,” – Monika Shergill, the VP-Content of Netflix India.
In the web interface, you can select the language from the ‘Language’ drop-down menu at the ‘Manage Profile’ section. Though it’s only for the web version, you will not find this option from the App. Let you know, Netflix allows you to select different languages for each profile.
To change the language in the app, go to the ‘Account’ through the ‘More’ tab and come down to ‘Profile & Parental Control’. There change the language to ‘Hindi’ and save that. Now, you can enjoy the Hindi Netflix interface.
