Netflix takes a step to prohibit sharing password and force to make own account

It is very easy to call Netflix one of the most popular video streaming platforms available, and it may need you to pay for the content you stream. The plans of Netflix are not that much expensive, so you need not worry much about paying a lot of money. Even Netflix has increased the past prices, though it is not still something that will give a warranty an outcry f4rom the users.

However, from some sources, it recently has confirmed that Netflix is working on finding new tactics to prevent sharing the password between different households. The most common thing that Netflix users do is the viewers only can share the passwords with their friends and trusted persons. Now, Netflix only has decided to allow password sharing terms and services clearly that the accounts or passwords will be only shared with the people within the same household.

Netflix Could Stop Password Sharing and Force You to Make Your Own Account

It also has confirmed that the Netflix account holders will be getting messages every time they are attempting to stream the content. The warning message reads and once that is displayed then you can access to verify the account with an email or via text verification code.

Now after this you can of course go ahead and verify it with a text message and also asked the owner of the account to supply you the code once that it arrives on their smartphones, but at this moment it is not clear that if the message is appearing based on the IP addresses or some of their measure.

According to recent terms and services of Netflix that prohibit the sharing of passwords with outside people apart from the households, but this definitely can’t stop users from doing it. Last year, Netflix also has shared about the monitoring of password sharing, but at that time they did not announce the plans on taking action against it.

Netflix tests new security feature that will stop account sharing

Netflix also revealed that the plans are very accessible for starters, the basic plan is the $8.9 only allows a single device to stream, while paying the $13.99 streaming will be available on two devices. If you are finding for higher prices then you have to pay the $17.99 plan that allows the streaming on up to four devices.

It is very disappointing about this hard policy of Netflix and also doesn’t know how hard Netflix will be cracking down on this password sharing policy.
