The highly anticipated gymnastics biopic Perfect is officially dead. Lead star Millie Bobby Brown and director Gia Coppola have both exited the project, citing creative differences.

The film, which aimed to chronicle Kerri Strug’s legendary 1996 Olympic triumph, has been scrapped by Netflix. Despite this major setback, Brown’s partnership with the streamer remains strong for future high-profile upcoming releases.
