Netflix has officially pulled the plug on *The Boroughs* after just one season. Despite the Duffer Brothers’ involvement, the sci-fi series failed to sustain momentum. After an initial surge, viewership plummeted, sealing the show’s fate. Even with a second season writers’ room already active, Netflix is moving on. The paranormal retirement community mystery officially enters the streaming graveyard effective immediately.
