AMD recently announced that their latest upscaling tech known as FSR 2.2, is a great update over the existing FSR 2.1, and will be coming to the latest Need For Speed Unbound and of course the popular F1 22. As AMD says, the new FSR 2.2 brings additional quality enhancements over FSR 2.1, especially in high-speed games, so Forza Horizon 5 already got the update last month.
High-Speed Enhancements with FSR 2.2
Now, it’s time for Need For Speed Unbound, the latest from the Need For Speed franchise, to get FSR 2.2 whereas F1® 22, which will be updated with FSR 2.2 in January 2023. Along with these new FSR 2.2 games, we’re also thrilled to announce that an upcoming update to 3DMark will add an FSR Feature Test that will use FSR 2.2.
Using FSR 2.2, you can experience the game’s new signature art style that blends street art with the most realistic-looking cars in Need for Speed history at higher framerates with incredible image quality, immersing you deeper than ever before into your very own street race fantasy. In the 4K screenshots of the game with FSR 2.2 enabled, we see great image quality and graphics, we ourselves are testing this and will share our readers soon.
Test FSR 2 Performance with 3DMark
3DMark has recently brought a new update that will be adding an FSR Feature Test and this test will be similar to the NVIDIA DLSS test. The test will use FSR 2.2 and will help you compare the performance and image quality of FSR 2 at the different quality mode settings on your graphics card.
This test will be having a built-in frame inspector tool to compare FSR 2.2 and it will support any supported GPU from AMD, Intel, and Nvidia.
