The shocking murder of Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) leader Baba Siddique in Mumbai’s Bandra area has left the city and the nation reeling. Deputy Chief Minister and NCP leader Ajit Pawar condemned the attack, calling it “extremely unfortunate and condemnable.” Sharad Pawar also expressed his sorrow, saying, “We have lost a leader who fought tirelessly for the minority community and secularism.”
Siddique’s murder has sparked widespread outrage, with opposition leaders criticizing the Eknath Shinde government over the law and order situation in the city. Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Priyanka Chaturvedi expressed her shock on social media, stating, “The lawlessness in the city is unacceptable. This case must be thoroughly investigated by the CBI.”
