**2. Creative Differences**: Sources close to [Tollywood Film Industry](https://www.123telugu.com/) hint at disagreements regarding her character’s screen time and narrative arc. Nayanthara, known for choosing substantial roles, may have felt the script didn’t justify her presence.

**4. Professional Priorities**: Following her Netflix documentary success and establishing herself as a producer, Nayanthara increasingly prioritizes projects offering creative control. ## Who Might Replace the Lady Superstar?

**Speculation is rife** about potential replacements:

**Trisha Krishnan**: Frequent Balakrishna collaborator with proven chemistry (*Dammu*, *Lion*). Her availability and comfort with mass entertainers make her frontrunner.

**Shruti Haasan**: Recent Telugu comeback success could position her as strong contender. Her action film experience aligns with NBK111’s genre.

**Kajal Aggarwal**: Industry veterans suggest her return to Telugu cinema after brief hiatus could happen through this prestigious project.

Director **Bobby Kolli** (known for *Waltair Veerayya*) is reportedly meeting actresses this week. ## Impact on NBK111’s Production

The **recasting** may delay shooting schedules by 4-6 weeks, potentially affecting the planned late-2026 release. However, producer **Naga Vamsi** expressed confidence in maintaining timelines, stating pre-production work continues unaffected.

**Nandamuri Balakrishna**, currently delivering consecutive hits with *Veera Simha Reddy* and *Bhagavanth Kesari*, remains the project’s primary draw. His mass appeal ensures strong opening regardless of casting changes.

Despite this exit, Nayanthara’s slate remains impressive:

- **Untitled SRK Film** with Atlee
- **Mannangatti Since 1960** (Tamil)
- **Test** (Hindi debut opposite R Madhavan)
