Hungary were able to earn a valuable point against Germany at home, as they held on to a 1-1 scoreline until the final whistle. They are now second in their table behind Italy, and have earned three points from their first three games in the Nations League. Zsolt Nagy gave the home team the lead six minutes into the game, pouncing on a rebound. However, Jonas Hoffman continued his scoring spree with the equaliser coming very shortly after.

The repeat of the Euro 2020 final ended in a draw once again. But this time, neither team was able to score in the 90 minutes. There were several chances for both teams throughout the game. But, poor finishing from Mason Mount and Raheem Sterling squandered the opportunities. Moreover, some great goalkeeping from Aaron Ramsdale helped the Three Lions stay in the game. However, they are still winless from their first three games in the Nations League.
