Italy, Croatia and the Netherlands have qualified for the Nations League finals next year by topping their groups. The Azzurri became the latest to earn their place by defeating Hungary 2-0 last night, and replacing them at the top of their group.
So, the reigning champions of Europe could add another trophy to their collection, despite missing out on the World Cup this year.

The Netherlands defeated Belgium 1-0 in the final game of their group stage fixture to earn their spot. Croatia, the finalists of the 2018 World Cup, had to work hard to win their group. But, they overcame France, Denmark and Austria in their group to finish at the top.
The semi-finals will be played on 14 and 15 June 2023, and the third place game will be played on 18 June. The hosts of the finals will be determined in January 2023, with all group A4 teams, Belgium, Poland, Netherlands and Wales registering their interest in hosting the competition.
The game between Spain and Portugal will be key to determine the fourth team to compete in the finals next summer.
