Real Betis winger Nabil Fekir is being linked with a move to Arsenal this summer. The player has scored three goals and recorded six assists this season, having scored and assisted seven each last time around.
The financial situation concerning the La Liga outfit could force them into parting ways with the French winger. This is because player sales could be their only hope of reaching some form of financial security right now, and Fekir, valued at £26 million by the club, is emerging as a potential target for the Gunners in the summer.
Despite the links emerging between Arsenal and the 27-year-old, their priority remains to try and keep Martin Odegaard beyond his simple loan spell. The Norwegian has impressed during his time at the Emirates and has been exactly what Arsenal hoped for when they signed him in the winter.
Real Madrid and Arsenal are going to meet to discuss the player’s future at the end of the season, and it’s all up in the air until then. However, if they can’t then Fekir could be an option in the summer when the transfer window opens up for business.
Fekir has been linked with various Premier League clubs in the past, with Liverpool being the last ones to be rumouref as a potential destination for the player. Again, the only condition under which Fekir could move to the Emirates is if the negotiations concerning Odegaard fall through.
