This is because player sales could be their only hope of reaching some form of financial security right now, and Fekir, valued at £26 million by the club, is emerging as a potential target for the Gunners in the summer.
Despite the links emerging between Arsenal and the 27-year-old, their priority remains to try and keep Martin Odegaard beyond his simple loan spell. The Norwegian has impressed during his time at the Emirates and has been exactly what Arsenal hoped for when they signed him in the winter.
