## What Happened? The Delay Explained

My Happy Marriage Season 2 Episode 12 was postponed due to production delays, sparking speculation among viewers — with many fearing the worst. Fortunately, that fear was put to rest quickly. Episode 12 was moved to March 31, 2025 in Japan at 10 PM JST / 8:30 AM ET / 5:30 AM PT. But the international Netflix release kept getting pushed. The final two episodes were then confirmed to drop simultaneously on April 25 on Netflix internationally, after Kadokawa issued a statement thanking fans for their patience and understanding.

## What to Expect in Episodes 12 & 13

Episode 12 (*Feelings Beyond Dreams*) will see Kiyoka overwhelmed by Usui’s illusions, with Miyo bringing everyone into the dream world to prevent further deaths — leading to Usui’s downfall and Arata’s injury. Episode 13 (*Once Spring Has Come…*) wraps up the Gifted Communion crisis: Kiyoka resigns, Miyo receives a wedding kimono and a royal invitation, and the couple ultimately chooses each other — planning to plant a cherry blossom tree together to mark their marriage.

It’s the ending fans have waited two seasons for — and by all accounts, it truly delivers.

## A Quick Recap of Episode 11

The eleventh episode saw Kiyoka confront Arata while imprisoned, with Arata insisting his actions were for Miyo and the Usuba family, while Miyo — aided by the Special Anti-Grotesquerie Unit, Tadakiyo, and Kazushi — worked to rescue Kiyoka.

## Will There Be a Season 3?

There have been no further episodes beyond the end of Season 2 announced as of yet. However, the series has been a massive hit both in Japan and abroad, and the light novel and manga the show is based on is ongoing — so there is still plenty of narrative material for a third season.

[My Happy Marriage](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/My_Happy_Marriage) is based on Akumi Agitogi’s light novel series set in an alternative Taishō-era Japan, where spirits and magic coexist with a Cinderella-meets-arranged-marriage love story that has captured fans worldwide.
