Get ready for a total period-drama reset! Netflix is dropping the 1900s Australian classic, My Brilliant Career, on August 13, 2026.

Starring Phillipa Northeast as the defiant, writing-obsessed Sybylla, this reimagining shatters traditional conventions. With a stacked cast and a killer soundtrack by Thelma Plum, this series is the ultimate high-stakes clash between domestic expectations and pure, unadulterated creative freedom.
