Netflix dropped the new trailer of the Dutch biopic ‘My Best Friend Anne Frank’. This film had a theatrical release in The Netherlands in September 2021 and the film is now set to launch widely on an international basis on Netflix.
My Best Friend Anne Frank: Plot
The story of the film is based on the book Memories of Anne Frank: Reflections of a Childhood Friend by Alison Leslie Gold and mainly revolved around the friendship between Hanneli Goslar and Anne Frank. The pair had been the best friends across the time of the Second World War that broke out across Europe.
After three years the Frank family went into hiding a special meeting taking place in between the two girls in the Bergen-Belsen focus camp. It is notable that Hannah is putting her life on the line in the hopes of helping her weak friend.
Both friends have a special meeting in the Bergen-Belsen concentration camp. Now we will have to wait to see how Hannah put her life on the line to help her enfeeble friend.

At first, the film was produced out of the Netherlands that has been based on the life of Anne Frank. It seems that the Dutch director Ben Sombogaart is also behind the movie worked on titles like In My Father’s Garden, Rafael, and Bride Flight.
This film features Aiko Beemsterboer as Anne Frank, Josephine Arendsen as Hanneli Gosler. We can also see Roeland Fernhot, Lottie Hellingam, Simone Canaris, Stefan da Walle, Adel Jordan and Tunde Szalontay.
