Mumbai City FC have won the ISL Cup for the second time, defeating Mohun Bagan SG 3-1 at the Salt Lake Stadium. The Sky Blues turned around a 1-0 deficit in the first half to win the game, with Jorge Pereyra Diaz, Bipin Singh and Jakub Vojtus scoring to turn things around.
Singh scored in his 2nd ISL final to turn things around for Mumbai City FC, and has become the second Indian to score in two finals. This is the first trophy for Petr Kratky as manager of the Sky Blues, and has prevented MBSG from completing their treble, avenging their loss in the final game of the league.

The Sky Blues had several chances in the first half, playing a lot of free flowing attacking football. But, they were unable to convert those chances. And against the run of play, Phurba Lachenpa parried Dimitri Petratos’ shot right into Jamie Cummings’ path. The Australian calmly slotted the ball past the keeper to open the scoring.
However, the Sky Blues did incredibly well on the counter attack to turn things around. Mohun Bagan were unable to make the most of their possession in the second period, and their defence was left completely open as a result.
