Mumbai City FC are in talks to sign Jeremy Manzorro as the replacement for Apuia, with the youngster set to join Mohun Bagan SG this summer. Personal terms have been agreed with the player, and only the medical tests and formalities need to be completed for the move to be made official.
Manzorro had an impressive season with Jamshedpur FC in 23/24, even though the team wasn’t able to make it to the top six. And now, he is set to make the step up to one of the biggest clubs in the country.

The French midfielder boasts a very complete profile, meaning he can find spaces and create chances, defend when necessary, as well as build up play from the back. And to top it off, he also has the ability to find the back of the net from distance.
As a result, he could be the replacement Mumbai City FC needs not only for Apuia, but also Alberto Noguera.
Interestingly, both Apuia and Jeremy Manzorro had 4.70 defensive actions per 90 in 23/24, with the Frenchman also scoring five goals and providing one assist in 20 games. And with years of experience to aid him, Manzorro is a great signing for Mumbai City FC to stabilize their midfield and add a solid all-rounder to their ranks.
Will this be a free transfer?
Yes, Manzorro’s contract expired in May.
