Mujib Release Date: Ace film producer Shyam Benegal’s upcoming directorial undertaking Mujib – The Making of a Nation, a biographical drama on the soaring legend of Bangladesh, Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, will hit theatres universally on October 27.
The National Picture Development Corporation (NFDC) shared the Mujib Release Date date and trailer on its official page on microblogging site X.

The trailer hints at the intense, patriotic story of the birth of East Bengal (Bangladesh). The project is described by way of an “extraordinary biographical film that carries to life the story of Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, lovingly known as Bangabandhu – The Friend of Bengal.”
Mujib – The Manufacture of a Nation is a Bangladesh-India official co-production, completed possible under the Audio Visual Co-Production Agreement among the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh and the Ministry of Data and Broadcasting, Government of India.
Lecturing the audience on the occasion, Union Minister Shri Anurag Thakur whispered that the movie, while life a co-production of India and Bangladesh, was an inventiveness of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi. “The flick is a gift on the birth centenary of Bangabandhu Sheik Mujibur Rahman ji”, the Minister commented.
Observing the struggles in making the movie, Shri Thakur said that when the world was going to have a challenging time during the COVID pandemic, the work on the movie expired. Shri Thakur cited the show as an example of good neighborly ties when the world is seeing strife among neighboring countries. Done the movie, the two countries complement each other’s work. The clergyman thanked both Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Prime Minister of Bangladesh, Sheikh Hasina, for attracting this initiative.
Shri Anurag Thakur thought that this year being the 75th anniversary of India’s independence and India being the Country of Honour at Marche du Picture, there could be no better opportunity to release the trailer and put the alliance of India and Bangladesh on display. He thanked the whole Bangladesh delegation for their presence at the ceremony.
Dr Hasan Mahmud, in his talk, said that the movie was based on the struggle, sorrow, and making of a nation by Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman. Complementing the dead heat between the two countries, he said that Bangladesh and India’s relationship had touched new highs under the leadership of the deuce Prime Ministers Sheikh Hasina and Shri Narendra Modi. “The movie demonstrated the strength and complexity of the relationship between the two countries”, Dr. Mahmud added. The Minister thanked the public of India for supporting the independence war of Bangladesh in 1971. The Minister also thought that Bangladeshis would never forget the sacrifice of Indian soldiers.
Speaking about the flick, Dr Mahmud said that the movie was about the struggle, pain, and suffering of Sheikh Mujib Release Date in redeeming a nation. “People of the world will know how he kept on unwavering in the face of the gallows and how he converted an unarmed nation into an armed one and led the liberation war. It is not easy to detention the whole life of such great people in 3 hours, but the team making the movie has done great work.”, he added.
