MSI Bravo 15 with Ryzen 4000H processors & RX5500M graphics starts at $997 on Amazon, can be imported to India

The world has gone crazy with AMD’s latest Ryzen 4000 mobile processors be it for gaming-focused H series or productivity-focused U series. We get a lot of comments regarding the latest AMD powered gaming laptops and so here we are with the MSI Bravo 15 – the all AMD powered machine.

The MSI Bravo is powered by the Ryzen 5 4600H and Ryzen 7 4800H processors along with AMD’s own 7nm based RX 5500M mobile graphics which is pretty strong as well. Both of the variants are available in the US via Amazon and the good thing is it can be imported to India at very low costs.

Talking of specs, the laptop features a 15.6-inch FHD IPS display with 1920*1080 resolution with 120Hz refresh rate and covers 45% NTSC colour gamut. Also, it has thin bezels around the corners making it look modern. You can choose between the 6-core Ryzen 5 4600H with 3.0GHz base clock speed and 4.0GHz boost clock speed or the 8-core Ryzen 7 4800H with 2.9GHz base clock speed and 4.2GHz boost clock speed.

Both the CPUs are very powerful and capable for intense gaming sessions and the Zen 2 architecture helps it consume low power and give extreme performance when required. The AMD Radeon RX5500M graphics with 4GB GDDR6 memory give almost GTX 1660 Ti level performance in games which is another plus point in the $1000 price mark.

You get 512GB NVMe SSD storage with both variants while the Ryzen 5 variant comes with 8GB DDR4 2666MHz memory while the Ryzen 7 variant features dual channel 16GB (8GB*2) DDR4 2666MHz memory. The best part is the laptop’s RAM can be upgraded easily with the two RAM slots as it has a max memory support up to 64GB.

The performance of the laptop is undoubtedly one of the best, much like all other AMD Ryzen 4000H powered gaming laptops but obviously there are some pros and cons. These days many laptop vendors are equipping these laptops with low-quality displays even though having high refresh rates and there are some caveats which I guess will be cleared with Hardware Canuck’s this video about the laptop:

So if you are suitable with all its pros and cons, you can easily purchase the laptop via Amazon and the pricing is quite strange as there’s only $70 difference between two variants, which we also during launch and remains same during availability as well. I personally would go for the Ryzen 7 4800H powered variant with 16GB RAM for just $70 price difference.

Buy the Ryzen 5 4600H variant with 8GB RAM & 512GB SSD ($997.36): https://amzn.to/3iSAJWh

Buy the Ryzen 7 4800H variant with 16GB RAM & 512GB SSD ($1,073.50): https://amzn.to/2Ol9KEG

If you are an Indian and look for this laptop, don’t worry you can get the laptop with a shipping fee of just about $150 which is cheap enough than many other laptops in this price segment. Also, the ultimate price will almost like it’s in India after applying GST but you can wait for the Indian variant as well whose availability as for now is unknown.
