Rani Mukherjee’s film Mrs. Chatterjee Vs Norway finally gets a release date. It will be released next year on 20th May as announced on Tuesday.
It is an untold story about a mother’s battle against the entire country, the movie is based on a true incident that benefitted children and human rights at an international level.
The producers of the film are Monisha Advani, Madhu Bhojwani and Nikkhil Advani’s Emmay Entertainment and Zee Studios. The production houses announced the release date on their respective Twitter handles.
The tweet stated “With the odds against her, this mother must fight it all and more to be strong for her children! Inspired by a true story, #MrsChatterjeeVsNorway starring #RaniMukherji releases in theatres on Friday, May 20th 2022!,”
The director of this movie is Ashima Chibber who had previously directed Mere Dad ki Maruti. The shooting of the film started in August and ended in October.

In a recent interview with India Interview, Rani Mukherjee revealed that she didn’t desire to be an actress in her young days. She said that it was her mother who realised her ability in acting and insisted her to become an actor.

After the release of Bunty and Bubly 2, she is set to enthral the audience with her power-packed performance in her next film Mrs Chatterjee vs Norway.
The actor completed 25 years in Bollywood this year. In an interview with India Today, she expressed her gratitude at the milestone stating that her biggest success has been getting a chance to portray diverse roles.
