Tablet buyers in India may want to check prices again. Motorola has reportedly raised the prices of several Moto Pad tablets by up to **Rs 4,000**, according to tipster Sanju Choudhary’s post on X on 20 October 2026 and a report by [My Mobile India](https://www.mymobileindia.com/motorola-tablet-prices-hiked-by-up-to-rs-4000-in-india-moto-pad-60-neo-pad-70-pro-get-costlier/).

Motorola has not made a formal announcement, so confirm the current price on Motorola’s website or an authorised retailer before buying.

## What the numbers show

The keyboard bundle for the Pad 70 Pro costs Rs 6,000 more than the pen-only version. At every RAM level, the 5G Pad 60 Neo costs Rs 3,000 more than the Wi-Fi model. The Pad 60 Neo prices listed include the bundled pen.

The report does not give previous prices for each model, so the exact increase per variant is not stated. The ‘up to Rs 4,000’ figure comes from the report’s headline.

## Not the first increase

This is not the first revision this year. An April 2026 report by [91mobiles](https://www.91mobiles.com/hub/motorola-pad-60-pro-neo-india-prices-reportedly-revised/) described earlier hikes on the Pad 60 Pro and Pad 60 Neo, with the new prices live on Motorola’s site at the time. That article linked the hikes to industry-wide price increases that seem to stem from memory component shortages, which is the author’s reading and not a Motorola statement.

## More hikes may come

Choudhary says more price hike news from several brands is incoming and advises buyers to plan purchases soon. That is a tipster’s warning, not a confirmed plan. Rising memory costs have been pushing up prices of phones and tablets across the industry; see our story on the [memory shortage](https://technosports.co.in/tag/memory-shortage/).

## Should you buy now?

If you were planning to buy a Moto Pad, compare the new price with offers on Flipkart and Motorola’s site, since bank offers can offset part of the increase. Learn more about the brand on [Motorola Mobility](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Motorola_Mobility) and see our [Motorola coverage](https://technosports.co.in/tag/motorola/).

## What Is Not Confirmed

- Motorola has not officially confirmed the new prices or the reason for the increase.
- Claims of more price hikes by other brands are a tipster’s prediction.
