Motorola Razr 50 Flip was launched in India on Monday as the company’s latest flip-style foldable smartphone. It offers an aluminum frame and a 6.9-inch internal screen with a 3.63-inch cover screen. This phone is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7300X SoC. It has a dual rear camera setup and draws power from a 4,200mAh battery. It features an IPX8-rated water-resistant construction. Pre-orders begin on September 10, with color options including Beach Sand, Koala Grey, and Spritz Orange. Introductory offers include a ₹5,000 festive discount and a ₹10,000 bank discount, reducing the price to ₹49,999. No-cost EMI starts at ₹2,778, and buyers can also benefit from ₹15,000 worth of Reliance Jio offers.
The Motorola Razr 50 has a build with two SIM (nano + eSIM) support and it runs on Hello UX based Android 14. It has a 6.9-inch full-HD+ pOLED inner display with a 120Hz refresh rate and 300Hz touch sampling rate, alongside a 3.63-inch full-HD+ pOLED cover display with a 90Hz refresh rate. A vegan leather back and Corning Gorilla Glass Victus protect the phone on its exterior.
The MediaTek Dimensity 7300X SoC is under the hood while a combination of up to 8GB and as much as 256GB storage can be found inside. It packs a 50-megapixel primary sensor and a 13 -13-megapixel ultra-wide camera on the back, along with a front-facing 32-megapixel shooter.
Connectivity features include 5G, Bluetooth 5.4, GPS, FM radio, A-GPS, and Wi-Fi 6. The phone supports a side-mounted fingerprint sensor and face unlock, and it offers dual stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos. The Razr 50 also comes with an IPX8 water-repellent design.
The 4,200mAh battery supports 33W wired and 15W wireless charging. The phone measures 171.3×73.99×7.25mm when unfolded and weighs 188.4 grams. Motorola promises three years of OS updates and four years of security updates for the device.
