Amazon Great Freedom Festival sale returns, offering enticing discounts on a variety of smartphones like the [Motorola](https://www.motorola.com/us/)Razr 40 and Motorola Razr 40 Ultra. But at these prices, they may be the ideal yield-way generation of high-priced flip-style foldable right before the just-announced Razr 50 lineup. The big question is, then: What do you get from all these foldable over a typical flagship phone?

## **The Discounted Motorola Razr 40 and Razr 40 Ultra**

Launched in India at ₹89,999 for the 8GB/256GB variant of Motorola Razr 40 Ultra is live with a new price tag during the sale and is now listed at just ₹46,749 which means you can get a discount of ₹43,250. The deal also packs in a ₹750 rebate on SBI card payments and up to ₹1,500 saved through EMI which could come as a discount or cashback, therefore bringing the final price down to just ₹45,999. So the Motorola Razr 40 is listed as out of stock on Amazon, and Motorola suggests a price tag of ₹32,999 with an applicable bank offer when available.

The Razr 40 Ultra features the Qualcomm [Snapdragon](https://technosports.co.in/?s=Snapdragon) 8+ Gen 1 SoC, which is more than capable of handling daily tasks like email, browsing, and photography. There’s also a 3.6-inch second screen on the back, which is mostly used for simple tasks like controlling music and notifications. But it packs a mere 3,800mAh with 30W fast charging and that too might feel limited for some users.

The Razr 40, on the other hand, and despite being powered by an older Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 SoC is going to have a hard time justifying their place in the ₹35,000 bracket against much newer competition with superior performance. In terms of the camera specifications, it flaunts a main 64MP sensor and a 32MP selfie camera alongside a smaller 1.47-inch secondary screen.

In summary, if you’re keen on a foldable phone and are on a budget, the Motorola Razr 40 Ultra is a solid choice compared to other foldables. However, for those who don’t require a foldable and are looking for better specifications for the price, models like the OnePlus 12R, iQOO 12, OnePlus Nord 4, and iQOO Neo 9 Pro might be more suitable alternatives.
