The Motorola Edge 50 Pro made its debut in India on Wednesday, April 3rd. This smartphone features an AI-driven triple rear camera setup and an impressive 50-megapixel front camera. The Motorola Edge 50 Pro runs on the 4nm core Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 SoC and features a 4,500mAh battery that supports both wired and wireless Turbocharging. Motorola has assured users that the Edge 50 Pro will receive three years of operating system updates and four years of security patches. This phone is available in three colors. Offers two variations in RAM and storage capacity.

In India, the starting price for the Motorola Edge 50 Pro is ₹31,999 for the 8GB + 256GB model while the 12GB + 256GB variant is priced at ₹35,999. However, during a promotion, the base model will be offered at ₹27,999. The 12GB RAM version at ₹31,999. Interested customers can buy this phone from April 9th onwards through Flipkart, Motorola stores, or retail stores.
The color choices include Black Beauty, Luxe Lavender, and Moonlight Pearl – with Moonlight Pearl being handcrafted in Italy and set to launch on April 8th. Additionally, Motorola is providing discounts such as a ₹2,250 discount on HDFC credit and debit card EMI transactions along, with a ₹2,000 exchange bonus.
The Motorola Edge 50 Pro features a 6.7 inch 1.5K pOLED curved screen with a refresh rate of 144Hz, peak local brightness of 2,000 nits, and support, for HDR10+. It comes with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 SoC combined with a maximum of 12GB RAM and 256GB storage capacity. The phone runs on the Hello UI based on Android 14 and is scheduled to get three years’ worth of operating system updates.
In terms of camera capabilities, the Motorola Edge 50 Pro features a versatile triple rear camera setup, including a 50-megapixel primary sensor with optical image stabilization (OIS), a 13-megapixel sensor with an ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 10-megapixel telephoto shooter with 3x optical zoom and OIS. The front camera sports a 50-megapixel sensor with quad-pixel technology and autofocus.
The smartphone is powered by a 4,500mAh battery with support for up to 125W wired and 50W wireless Turbocharging. The 125W charger comes with the 12GB RAM variant, while the 8GB RAM option includes a 68W charger. Additionally, it boasts an IP68 rating for dust and splash resistance and measures 8.19mm in thickness, weighing 186g.
