Motorola Edge 50 Fusion Debuts in India: Price, Specs Unveiled

Motorola, a Lenovo company, has launched its Motorola Edge 50 Fusion today. This mid-range model comes pre-installed with Android 14 and is expected to receive at least three major updates. This phone has a 6.67-inch pOLED unlock display with a 144Hz refresh rate and a 5,000mAh battery capacity with 68W TurboPower charging. This android is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 chip and comes with up to 12GB of RAM and up to 256GB of internal storage.

The device is available in India for the 8GB+128GB version, which costs ₹22,999, and the 12GB+256GB version, which costs ₹24,999. It comes in Hot Pink and Marshmallow Blue with a vegan leather finish and Forest Blue with a PMMA finish. The phone will be available for purchase starting May 22 from Flipkart, Motorola’s official website and retail stores, and provide a 2000 rupee discount on ICICI Bank credit card and credit card EMI transactions.

The Motorola Edge 50 Fusion is powered by MyUX and Android 14, and it has a 6.7-inch full-HD+ pOLED curved display with a 144Hz refresh rate, a 360Hz touch sampling rate, Gorilla Glass 5 protection, and a maximum brightness of 1,600 nits. It is powered by a 4nm Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 chip from Qualcomm and up to 12GB of LPDDR4X RAM.

The smartphone is equipped with a 50-megapixel primary camera with a Sony LYT-700C sensor, a 13-megapixel ultra-wide angle camera that can act as a macro lens, and a 32-megapixel secondary camera for selfies and video calls. The Motorola Edge 50 Fusion has up to 256GB of UFS 2.2 storage. It also supports 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, GPS, NFC, and a USB Type-C port.

There is an in-display fingerprint sensor, a proximity sensor, an accelerometer, a gyroscope, an e-compass, and an ambient light sensor. Meanwhile, the 5,000mAh battery supports 68W TurboPower charging. The phone is IP68 for dust and water resistance. The dimensions of the phone are 162 x 73.1 x 7.9mm for vegan leather variant and 162 x 73.1 x 7.8mm for PMMA.
