Motorola has a new smartphone scheduled next week and it might be the world’s thinnest military-grade device. We do not know the official name yet but one tipster suggests that it could be called the Motorola Edge 50. The Motorola Edge 50 will make it to India very soon. A report by 91mobiles Hindi has revealed some important details about both Moto and other color options for this model. An outline of what we know about the new device is below.
The Upcoming Motorola Edge 50
In another leak, tipster Sudhanshu Ambhore said the Motorola Edge 50 may become the slimmest MIL-810 military-grade phone ever by IBM Research. Some of the leaked information includes renders and color options for the Motorola Edge 50. Up front, it has curved edges with a hole-punch display and thin top and bottom bezels. A triple rear camera configuration with an LED flash will reside at the top left of what is expected to be a vegan leather-clad back panel.
The Motorola logo will be centered on the rear panel. The volume and power buttons are located on the right edge, while the bottom houses the speaker grill, SIM slot, and USB Type-C port. As of now, we know that the Motorola Edge 50 5G will be sold in Gray, Green, and Pantone-certified Peach colors in India.
Although these are not confirmed, rumors suggest the Motorola Edge 50 may offer a pOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate, measuring around 6.4 inches, and is powered by MediaTek Dimensity 7300 chipset alongside a 50MP triple rear camera system, and a 32MP front camera. It will pack a 4,400mAh battery that charges up to 68W.
