On May 23, the Motorola Edge 40 will be officially launched in India. The price of the device was made public through a Flipkart listing just days before its official release. The MediaTek Dimensity 8020 SoC, 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM, and 256GB of onboard UFS 3.1 storage are expected to power the Motorola Edge 40.

It is confirmed to have a 3D curved display with a refresh rate of 144Hz and be offered in three different color variations. Motorola Edge 40 Pricing and Specs

The Motorola Edge 40’s price has been teased in a new banner published on Flipkart ahead of its planned launch on May 23. According to the advertisement, the phone would cost ₹27,999 in India, with pre-orders opening on May 23. Remember that the Moto Edge 40’s price for its single 8GB RAM+256GB storage version was EUR 599.99 (approximately ₹54,000) when it was first introduced in Europe earlier this month.

The Motorola Edge 40 is rumored to feature a MediaTek Dimensity 8020 SoC in the Indian version, just like the device introduced in Europe. Nebula Green, Eclipse Black, and Lunar Blue color variants are known to be available. It boasts an IP68-rated design and is advertised as the slimmest 5G phone. A 3D curved display that supports a 144Hz refresh rate will be included on the Motorola Edge 40.

In addition to 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage, it is speculated to have 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM. Among its other features are a 32-megapixel front camera sensor, dual back cameras with a 50-megapixel primary camera, and a dual speaker arrangement with Dolby Atmos audio. Its 4,400mAh battery and 68W quick charging ability have also been confirmed.
