Moto Tab G62 launched in India with Snapdragon 680, 7,700mAh Battery and more

Motorola has launched the moto tab g62, the company’s latest tablet in India. The tablet joins the Moto Tab G70 and Moto Tab G70 LTE in Motorola’s portfolio, which launched earlier this year. 

The Tab G62 is a mid-range offering. It competes against the likes of the Realme Pad X, Xiaomi Pad 5, Samsung Galaxy Tab A8, and others in the market. It has a 10.6-inch 2K screen, is powered by Snapdragon 680 SoC with 4GB of RAM and comes in both Wi-Fi and 4G models.

Moto Tab G62 Specs

Tab G62 has a 10.6-inch LCD display with 2K resolution, 16:10 aspect ratio, and TUV Rheinland blue light emission certification.. It will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 SoC which has the Adreno 610 GPU coupled with 4GB of RAM and 128GB onboard storage. The storage can be extended up to 1TB via micro SD card. It also gets an IP52 rating for dust and water resistance.

For optics, the Tab G62 features an 8-megapixel auto-focus rear camera that can record up to 1080p videos at 30fps. At the front, it features an 8-megapixel fixed-focus selfie camera that can also record up to 1080p videos at 30fps. The selfie shooter also features a few camera modes like Dual Capture, Spot Color, Timelapse, Face Beauty, Video Snapshot, and Efficient Videos.

The Tab 62 will come pre-loaded with Android 12. It supports Google Kids Space and  Entertainment space features. The upcoming Moto tablet will be equipped with a 7700mAh battery unit and supports 20W rapid charging. It offers a quad-speaker setup with Dolby Atmos. It will also sport a 3.5mm audio jack.

Connectivity options will include 4G LTE, Dual Band Wi-Fi (2.4GHz and 5GHz), a 3.5mm audio jack, GPS and Bluetooth 5.0. It will have a quad-speaker setup with Dolby Atmos. The tablet will come in two variants: Wi-Fi only and LTE.

The moto tab g62 comes in Frost Blue color and is priced at Rs. 15,999 for the 4GB + 64GB Wi-Fi model and the 4GB + 64GB LTE model costs Rs. 17,999. The Wi-Fi version is on sale on Flipkart and the 4G model will be available soon.
