Moto G64 5G Unveiled in India: Pricing and Specifications Revealed

The Moto G64 5G was Motorola’s India foray into the 2022 mid-ranger, the successor to the Moto G62, and the premier smartphone to feature a MediaTek Dimensity 7025 The Moto G64 5G features a 50-megapixel primary camera with optical image stabilization and comes with a large 6,000mAh battery with 33W charging. The device runs Android 14 out of the box and will be upgraded to Android 15 as soon as possible.

In the Indian market, the Moto G64 5G starts at ₹14,999 for the 8GB+128GB variant, while the 12GB+256GB variant costs ₹16,999 and is subject to introductory price adjustments. The smartphone comes in three colors: Ice Lilac, Mint Green, and Pearl Blue. The gadget is available for purchase on Motorola’s website, Flipkart, and select retail stores. Customers can enjoy ₹1,000 instant discounts on HDFC Bank credit card payments or a ₹1,100 discount on EMI payments through HDFC Bank credit and debit cards.

The dual-SIM Moto G64 5G is powered by Android 14 and guaranteed to be upgraded to Android 15 and 3 years of security updates. It has a 6.5-inch full-HD+ IPS LCD with a 120Hz refresh rate and a MediaTek Dimensity 7025 chip with up to 12GB of RAM. In terms of camera capabilities, the Moto G64 5G boasts a 50-megapixel primary camera with OIS and PDAF, along with an 8-megapixel ultra-wide angle camera for macro shots. On the front, it houses a 16-megapixel selfie camera.

With storage options of up to 256GB expandable via a MicroSD card slot, the handset offers connectivity options including 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.3, NFC, GPS, and USB Type-C. It also carries an IP52 rating for dust and splash resistance. Measuring 161.56×73.82×8.89mm and weighing approximately 192g, the Moto G64 5G ensures a blend of performance, versatility, and durability.
