Motorola, the Lenovo-owned brand, has launched its new budget-friendly 5G smartphone in India, the Moto G35 5G. Positioned as a standout in its segment, the device is the first phone to support 12 5G bands, making it a versatile option for 5G connectivity. To further entice budget users who are on the lookout for high-performance specifications, the device sports a Full HD+ display and a 50-megapixel rear camera that’s capable of shooting 4K videos.

The Moto G35 is priced at ₹9,999 in India and comes with a single configuration of 4GB RAM and 128GB of storage. It can be bought from December 16 on Motorola’s official website, Flipkart, and select retail stores in India.

The smartphone also flaunts a 6.7-inch Full HD+ display with a peak brightness of 1,000 nits and a variable refresh rate between 60Hz to 120Hz. The display uses Corning Gorilla Glass 3 to keep it durable and a stereo speaker system with Dolby Atmos surround sound for a great listening experience.

The Moto G35 is fueled by the Unisoc T760 chipset, especially behind the scenes, which is combined with 4GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB of UFS 2.2 storage. With the help of virtual RAM technology, the RAM can be expanded up to 12GB, providing improved multitasking. The rear camera setup has a 50MP primary sensor which can capture in 4K, and an 8MP ultra-wide lens. It also has a 16MP front-facing camera for selfies.

The Moto G35 5G has been certified as the fastest 5G smartphone in India under ₹13,000 by Techarc, according to Motorola. It supports all 12 5G bands and can be used with all network operators, including standalone (SA) and non-standalone (NSA) 5G networks. A 5,000mAh battery (with support for 20W wired charging) also features on the device, and it comes with Android 14 out of the box. Motorola has committed to future updates, including an Android 15 upgrade and three years of security patches.
