The All New Moto Buds and Buds+

Motorola announced through one of its microsites that Moto Buds and Buds+ would be available in the country on May 9th at 12 p.m. Through X, formerly known as Twitter, the smartphone manufacturer teased the earbud’s introduction. Initially, the firm posted the first teaser regarding the earbuds without specifying their name.

The message was placed as “Sound of perfection” in the teaser, indicating an imminent arrival: Subsequently, another teaser showcased a charging case for the earbuds, likely available in light blue, dark blue, red, and yellow variants, hinting at potential splash or water resistance.

The Moto Buds were released at EUR 59 around ₹5,200 in Starlight Blue, Coral Peach, Glacier Blue, and Kiwi Green. On the other hand, the Buds+ was launched at EUR 149 roughly ₹13,300 in Forest Grey and Beach Sand. Moto Buds offer Active Noise Cancellation up to 50 dB, while Buds+ provides up to 46 dB.

They offer three preset noise cancellation modes – Transparency, Adaptive, Noise Cancellation, and Hi-Res Audio certification, as well as a triple mic system with built-in ENC. The Moto Buds use a 12.4mm dynamic driver to provide superior sound quality, while the Buds+ uses a dual 11mm woofer and 6mm tweeter. Both earbuds support Bluetooth 5.3 connectivity and are compatible with the Moto Buds app.

Expectedly, the Moto Buds are estimated to offer up to 9 hours of playtime, while the Buds+ are anticipated to provide a total of up to 38 hours of playtime on a single charge. Additionally, the Buds+ comes with the Dolby Head Tracking feature, adjusting audio based on head movements.
