Motorola has made a lot of noise with its product launches and innovations in 2024. Moto Edge 50 Pro became an instant hit. Motorola also teased a wrist-phone prototype at the MWC 2024 and is expected to finally take the wraps off new Razr models. Adding to its comeback, Motorola shocked everyone when it re-entered the audio market; it launched Moto Buds and Buds+ TWS earphones in India. A detailed breakdown of the aforementioned tech product is as follows:
The All New Moto Buds and Buds+
Moto Buds are available in four colors: Starlight Blue, Glacier Blue, Coral Peach, and Kiwi Green. Featuring a pebble-like design, the case features a Motorola logo on top, an LED indicator at the front, and a pairing button inside. It has a matte finish exterior and interior indicators for left and right earbuds with “Motorola” inscribed on the lid.
The Moto Buds appear more like the OnePlus Nords Buds but feature slightly extended stems and inbuilt speaker grilles. With the case, they weigh 36g with a Type-C port at the back of the case. Although the Moto Buds and Buds+ cases’ designs are almost equivalent, the Buds+ case seems squarer, while the Buds case is squarer.
The Moto Buds feature a single 12.4mm dynamic driver per earbud, with Hi-Res Audio and Dolby Atmos certifications, and triple microphones with ENC. The audio codecs supported are AAC and SBC and come with Active Noise Cancellation of up to 50dB with Transparency and Adaptive modes. With ANC turned off, they provide up to 9 hours of playback and 42 hours with the case. Charging the case takes 90 minutes, with 10 minutes of charge delivering two hours of playback.
Motorola Moto Buds+ comes in Forest Gray and Beach Sand colors and has a design with curved stems. They have a piano black ring in the middle of the earlobes and stem. The buds are tuned by Bose. They have a Hi-Res and Dolby Atmos certification and Dolby Head Tracking compatibility. Buds+ has LDAC, AAC, and SBC audio codecs. It is compiled with an 11mm+6mm dual dynamic driver.
They have Bluetooth 5.3 and can stand up to 38 hours with the case and 8 hours with ANC off. It charges 60 minutes with wired charging and 110 minutes with wireless charging. During the special launch offer, the Moto Buds are priced at ₹3,999 and the Buds+ at ₹7,999, with their regular prices being ₹4,999 and ₹9,999 respectively. Both products will be available on Flipkart and Motorola.in starting from May 15th.
