In the latter part of 2019, a lesser-known company called eBuyNow eCommerce Ltd. launched the Moto 360 (3rd Gen). For those in the dark, this firm is the brand licensee of ‘Moto 360’.
Nearly two years down the line, this smartwatch is finally releasing in India. The Moto 360(3rd Gen) was listed on Flipkart at the end of May, over two months later, it is available for purchase at a price of $270(19,990 INR) and comes in three colours variants, Phantom Black, Steel Grey, and Rose Gold.
The Moto 360(3rd Gen) features a 1.2″ circular AMOLED display with a resolution of 390 x 390 and Gorilla Glass 3 Protection. The casing is made out of stainless steel with either PVD coating for the Steel Grey and Rose Gold variants or DLC coating for the Phantom Black.
The Moto 360 is powered by the older Qualcomm Snapdragon Wear 3100 chipset paired with 1GB RAM and 8GB internal storage. It runs Wear OS backed by a 355mAh battery, which takes about an hour to charge fully and usually lasts up to a day.
Coming to connectivity, the wearable comes with Bluetooth 4.1, single-band Wi-Fi, GNSS( GPS, GLONASS, BeiDou, GALILEO), and NFC. It is compatible with devices running Android OS 6.0 or higher including the Go Edition and iOS 12.0 or higher.
It has all the essential sensors such as an accelerometer, gyroscope, barometer, ambient light sensor, and a heart rate sensor. It also has a water resistance rating of 3ATM.
At last, the Moto 360(3rd Gen) ships with a leather strap, a silicone strap, and a charging candle.
