The CIES Football Observatory has compiled a list based on what players have accomplished thus far, their age, and the remaining length of their contract to evaluate their market value. This is why Kylian Mbappe is only worth 80 million euros because he can sign a pre-contract agreement with any club outside of France in less than four weeks, ahead of a free move in the summer.

The most important goalkeeper is unsurprisingly Gianluigi Donnarumma, while the finest center defenders are Eric Garcia of Barcelona and Josko Gvardiol of RB Leipzig, respectively. The finest full-back, Alphonso Davies, is worth 120 million euros, while the best central midfielders are Jude Bellingham, Florian Wirtz, and Pedri.

With a valuation of 120 million euros, Ferran Torres is in sixth place among forwards, with Erling Haaland and Phil Foden towards the top, slightly below Vinicius Jr. Forwards Mason Greenwood, Jadon Sancho, Joao Felix, Mbappe, Moussa Diaby, and Jeremy Pino complete the lineup.

About the U21 Footballers

Surprisingly, 17 of the top 60 most valuable under-21 footballers are from the Premier League, while only 12 are from LaLiga Santander. The Bundesliga has 14 teams, but Serie A only has seven.

Bayer Leverkusen has the most players and is the most represented club, with six, followed by Barcelona (5) and Chelsea (3). (4). Seven of the 60 players are Spanish, indicating that the Spanish national team has a strong medium-term future.
