Some scorelines don’t just win matches — they rewrite record books entirely. East Bengal Women delivered exactly that in Kota Kinabalu, thrashing Guam’s Rovers FC 12-0 in the AFC Women’s Champions League 2026-27 Preliminary Stage, registering the biggest-ever victory by any Indian club, men’s or women’s, in Asian club competition history.

## Breaking a 40-Year-Old Record

The Moshal Girls’ 12-goal demolition surpasses East Bengal’s own men’s team, who previously held the mark with a 9-0 win over Maldives’ Club Valencia in the 1985-86 Asian Club Championship — a record that had stood for four decades before Thursday’s landslide.

## How the Rout Unfolded

Priyangka Devi Naorem opened the scoring in the sixth minute before doubling her tally in the 22nd, finishing with a brace on the night. Astam Oraon, Olivia Anokye (also with a brace), Abigail Antwi, Shilky Devi Hemam, Abena Opoku (twice), Anju Chanu Kayenpaibam and Soumya Guguloth all found the net as East Bengal’s attack completely overwhelmed a helpless Rovers side.
