Money Heist: Korea-Joint Economic Area: Everything We Know About the Upcoming Korean Adaptation

Netflix’s popular heist show Money Heist was end with its fifth season in 2021, with hands already left a Salvador Dali mask-shaped hole in their heart. It indicates fans also will be happy to know that they also can soon experience the magic all over again thanks to the Netflix declaration about the Korean version of the Spanish crime drama. The name of the new tale is Money Heist: Korea- Joint Economic Area and has set to come to Netflix globally in June 2022.

The shooting started on 18th September 2021 and lasted for a few such months just before finally ending on 18th January 2022. The conclusion of the filming can be intersected with the release of the series teaser trailer. All of such shootings have taken place in Seoul, South Korea.

Now, the drama also is in post-production as we should be a  handful of months away from its completion.

“Korean creators have been developing their own language and audiovisual culture for years. They have managed, like our series, to go beyond cultural borders and become a point of reference for thousands of viewers around the world, especially among young people. That is why I find it fascinating that the world of La casa de Papel is so attractive to Korean creators as to do an adaptation. The fact that the action is set on the Korean Peninsula also seems to me to be a milestone which I am really delighted about.”

The new trailer has been dropped on 29th April 2022 confirming that Money Heists: Korea – Joint Economic  Area is set to hit on Netflix globally on 24th June 2022. The new trailer reveals with a caption, “One crime can change the world” A bold new version of the ultimate heist. They have got the very first look at the Korean adaptation of Money Heist thanks to the teaser trailer released, we are to still months away from an official release, however, we can expect to learn more sooner than expected.

We at first thought there was very little chance as we could watch Money Heist drop in the first half of 2022, but along with the teaser trailer reveal, we may not have to wait that long as well.
