## Official Episode Synopsis

Shaw receives a key radio transmission while Cate and Keiko discover a hidden ancient connection to Titan X. Meanwhile, Isabel approaches Kentaro with a proposition.

## What Happened in Episode 6? (The Cliffhanger Explained)

In Episode 6, Young Lee Shaw and Dr. Suzuki worked on the doctor’s “Titan phone,” testing whether they could open a rift to Axis Mundi to summon Godzilla to fight Titan X. The test was successful — but as they closed the rift, something impossible happened: Lee Shaw heard *himself* over the radio from the past.

Also in Episode 6, at Hiroshi’s funeral, Kentaro naively blamed Cate for their father’s death. After Kentaro was harmed, Isabel — Walter Simmons’ daughter — manipulated him into joining Apex. Meanwhile, Cate established a mental link to Titan X and realized the creature was not violent but frightened and seeking home. Dr. Suzuki and Lee rejected this revelation entirely.

## What to Expect in “String Theory”?

The show may be approaching a time loop scenario as the older Lee Shaw communicates with his past self at Axis Mundi — a twist that could change history and the Monsterverse’s destiny. Meanwhile, the rest of the team must scramble to handle the frightened Titan X before disaster strikes. Cate and Keiko, armed with data and Cate’s bizarre infrasonic connection to the beast, represent the most logical plan — expect a fierce clash of ideologies as they push back against military force.
