Moise Kean to join Atletico Madrid on loan from Juventus

Moise Kean is set to join Atletico Madrid on a loan deal until the end of the season from Juventus. The Rojiblancos will pay a loan fee worth €500,000 to the Serie A club, and will cover 100% of the player’s salary for the second half of the season. He will be travelling to Spain soon to complete the medical tests and other formalities before being announced as a new signing.

There were three other clubs in the race to sign the forward, but he turned them down as he only wanted to join Diego Simeone’s team. Now, an agreement over a loan move is imminent.

Moise Kean to sign for Atletico Madrid on loan

Moise Kean

The striker’s loan from Everton was made permanent just this past summer, after an impressive run last year. But he hasn’t made the most of the opportunities given by Max Allegri, scoring and assisting no goals in 12 appearances this season.

With Dusan Vlahovic, Arek Milik and Kenan Yildiz in contention for spots, Moise Kean has fallen down the pecking order. And even though he will be going out on loan expecting regular game time, the solid partnership between Antoine Griezmann and Alvaro Morata might limit the number of minutes he plays.

However, he might be able to rotate with the rest of the squad considering the volume of games still left to play including the Copa del Rey and the Champions League.
