Moise Kean is all set to sign for Atletico Madrid, with the player now in Madrid to complete his medical and finalise his transfer to the Rojiblancos. The striker will sign from Juventus, who will receive a loan fee worth €500,000. The deal doesn’t include a buy option, which means he could return to Italy at the end of the season.Â
After failing to make a mark in the first half of the season under Max Allegri, he is back out on loan. But, he was signed permanently from Everton just this summer after a rather impressive season last year.
Moise Kean signs for Atletico Madrid on loanÂ
Kean has now played in four of Europe’s top five leagues, having featured for Everton, PSG and Juventus in the past. With the Atletico Madrid move imminent, he will have featured in four out of five top leagues.
It also continues the relationship between Atletico and Juventus, after previously trading Alvaro Morata between them for years.
Moise Kean is still young, at 23 years old, and has enough time to mature into a top striker in the coming years. He has shown glimpses of his potential at times, but is yet to apply himself consistently to maintain a starting position. And with Griezmann and Morata in form, it will be interesting to see how long Kean gets to play in the red and white shirt.
