Mohun Bagan transfer news: After winning the ISL League Shield and Durand Cup this past season, Mohun Bagan SG is set for a new chapter. They have recruited new head coach Jose Molina to replace Antonio Habas, but have opted to keep most of their squad constant for the upcoming season.

Ahead of the new season, Mohun Bagan SG have signed the A-League record goalscorer Jamie Maclaren, who netted 149 times in Australia. The 30-year-old has signed a multi-year deal with the ISL League winners and is set to be a massive signing for the club in the coming season.

Mohun Bagan SG have confirmed the return of goalkeeper Dheeraj Singh from FC Goa. The India U-17 World Cup keeper only played one game for ATK when he was part of the squad in 2019. After making 66 appearances for FC Goa over the last three years, he has signed a one-year deal with the Mariners to become their backup goalkeeper.

Armando Sadiku leaves Mohun Bagan for FC Goa; Greg Stewart to replace him

FC Goa have completed the signing of Mohun Bagan Super Giant striker Armando Sadiku.

Sadiku has terminated his contract with Mohun Bagan SG after agreeing personal terms with FC Goa, allowing him to move as a free agent. He will be replaced in the team by former Mumbai City FC and Jamshedpur FC midfielder Greg Stewart, who previously won the ISL Golden Ball as the league’s best player while with the Men of Steel.

Apuia has officially been announced as a new player for the Mariners, after handing in a transfer request to Mumbai City FC. The talented defensive midfielder replaces Joni Kauko in the centre of the park and has signed a contract till 2029 with the Kolkata giants.

Mohun Bagan SG has quickly replaced the outgoing duo of Brendan Hamill and Hector Yuste with Tom Aldred from Brisbane Roar and Alberto Rodriguez from Persib. The pair has extensive experience, aged 33 and 31 respectively, and will surely be of immense advantage to the team heading into the new season.

In a rather surprising decision, Mohun Bagan SG have confirmed the departures of centre-back duo Brendan Hamill and Hector Yuste, while Joni Kauko has also left the club after returning for the second half of the 23/24 season. The trio played a key part in helping the Mariners win the league shield, but have now made way to explore new challenges.

Kiyan Nassiri has signed a three-year contract with the Marina Machans in hopes of more playing time with his move to Owen Coyle’s side. The young striker was mostly on the bench during his time with the Kolkata giants, in spite of regularly showing glimpses of his talent.

Hnamte has joined him down south, with the central midfielder signing a three-year contract till 2027. Both players are part of the massive signing spree the Marina Machans have gone on this season, and it remains to be seen how their futures play out at the new club.

In what was a shocking decision for many fans, Hugo Boumous was left out of the Mohun Bagan SG squad for the second half of the ISL season in 23/24. The playmaker spent the past six months on the sidelines, and has now reunited with Sergio Lobera at Odisha FC, in an attempt to win the ISL title once again.
