Mohammedan Sporting are exploring a transfer for Carlos Franca, who plays in the Bulgarian top flight for Lokomotiv 1929 Sofia. The Brazilian has been used in a variety of roles for his current side, featuring as an attacking midfielder, a centre-forward as well as a winger when necessary.
He has played regularly for his club, making 29 appearances and scoring four goals while providing two assists. Franca mainly operates on the right flank, making him a good option to play out wide.

The 29-year-old Brazilian has played for a number of clubs in his career, including Caperanese, Bogliasco, Legnago Salus, Lavagnese, Rapallo Bogliasco, Cuneo, Lecco, Triestina, Potenza, and most recently, Lokomotiv 1929 Sofia.
Should a deal go through, he could finally make his way to the ISL and join the newly promoted Mohammedan Sporting. However, his discipline could prove to be an issue as he is prone to getting booked on the pitch.
So, the black and white side will need to invest in a new striker even if they sign Carlos Franca, since he isn’t a reliable centre-forward. But, he could be an important component to unlock the defence and create chances for his teammates.
