Mohammedan Sporting have completed the signing of Cesar Lobi Manzoki to reinforce their attack after David Lalhansanga’s departure to East Bengal.
The ISL debutants have acquired the 27-year-old at the peak of his abilities, having earned five end of the season awards in the Ugandan Premier League just a couple of seasons ago.

The striker most recently featured for Hatta Club in the UAE, having provided two assists in 10 games after joining them in January. Before his spell in the UAE, he played for Dalian Pro in the Chinese League, scoring 10 goals in 38 games.
While playing for Vipers in Uganda, Manzoki earned the Player of the Season, Players Player of the Season, Forward of the Season, Most Assists of the Season and Top Scorer of the Season and was a Team of the Season member in 2022.
He also featured for the DR Congo national team thrice, before switching to Central Africa in 2022, and has made six appearances for them now.
It’s a very interesting signing for Mohammedan Sporting in their first season back, and it shows how impressive their scouting has been. With an important signing wrapped up already, it remains to be seen which other players join the Black Panthers as they play in the top flight for the first time.
