Bengaluru FC have signed Mohammed Salah K from Punjab FC on a free transfer to bolster their defence. The defender was quite impressive in his debut campaign in the ISL making 13 appearances in the league, with the Shers offering him a new contract at the end.
However, he turned their offer down in favour of a move to Bengaluru, who have been quite active in the transfer market. The Kerala-born defender will compete for game time against Roshan Singh Naorem at left-back, with Jessel Carneiro likely to be sold.

Salah has been with Punjab FC since 2022, helping them become the first team to be promoted to the ISL from the I-League. He has been praised highly for his ball carrying abilities, aiding the attack from the left side.
He previously featured for Gokulam Kerala in the I-League, helping them win the Durand Cup during his two-year spell with them. And now, could make the move to his biggest club yet.
Bengaluru FC have already signed Mumbai City FC trio Rahul Bheke, Jorge Pereyra Diaz and Alberto Noguera to bolster their side, while letting go of Javi Hernandez. However, they are not done yet and are set to address more positions in their squad by bringing in players.
