Forget your typical office worker — **So Ji Sub** is back, and this time he’s trading spreadsheets for full-blown espionage. SBS’s highly anticipated upcoming drama **“Agent Kim Reactivated”** just dropped a brand-new teaser, and if this is any indication of what’s coming on June 26, K-drama fans are in for one thrilling ride.

## **What Is “Agent Kim Reactivated” About?**

Based on a hugely popular webtoon, the show follows **Manager Kim** — a quiet, bespectacled office dad with a deeply buried secret. Once a shadow operative working between North and South Korea, he walked away from it all at his dying wife’s request to simply be a father to their daughter, Min Ji. For years, it works. He raises her with devotion, from her first steps to high school.

Then someone threatens her — and the sleeping giant wakes up.

The teaser’s most chilling moment arrives when Manager Kim tears his shirt to reveal battle scars and a physique that absolutely does not belong to a paper-pushing salaryman. His message to the enemy? Crystal clear and ice cold.

| Character | Actor | Role |
| --- | --- | --- |
| Manager Kim | So Ji Sub | Retired spy, devoted father |
| Sung Han Soo | Choi Dae Hoon | Taekwondo-fighting father ally |
| Park Jin Chul | Yoon Kyung Ho | Military-gear-wearing father ally |
| Joo Kang Chan | Joo Sang Wook | Mysterious figure |
| Sang Ah | Son Naeun | Key supporting character |
| Kang Seong | Kim Sung Kyu | North Korean operative |

What makes this drama especially compelling is the ensemble of father figures — each with their own fighting style and backstory — banding together in what promises to be an all-out war to protect their children. It’s the kind of premise that taps into something universally emotional while wrapping it in pure action-thriller energy.

This is exactly the kind of content driving the global rise of Korean drama storytelling — a tradition well explored in the broader [Korean Wave cultural movement](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Korean_Wave) that has taken the world by storm over the past two decades.
