Disney’s live-action *Moana* has officially set sail, delivering a visual masterpiece that mirrors the 2016 original beat-for-beat. While Catherine Laga’aia shines and Dwayne Johnson brings massive charisma, the film plays it far too safe. It’s a gorgeous, high-fidelity voyage, but without fresh narrative risks, it leaves audiences questioning if this retelling was truly necessary. A beautiful, yet repetitive, journey.
