If you’re a *Miraculous: Tales of Ladybug & Cat Noir* fan, May 2026 is basically a holiday. Netflix is dropping not one but **two** big Miraculous additions back-to-back — a brand new special followed immediately by the full Season 5. Here’s your complete, no-confusion guide.

## What About Miraculous Season 5?

| Content | Release Date | Available On Netflix |
| --- | --- | --- |
| *Miraculous World: Paris, Tales of Shadybug and Claw Noir* (Special) | **April 30, 2026** | Global (except Brazil) |
| *Miraculous: Tales of Ladybug & Cat Noir* — Season 5 | **May 1, 2026** | Global |

## Miraculous New Special: A Multiverse Twist in Paris

The third *Miraculous World* special lands on Netflix on **April 30th**, and this one hits differently. After the heroes’ adventures in New York and Shanghai, the story comes full circle back to Paris — but with a multiverse spin.

*Tales of Shadybug and Claw Noir* introduces dark alternate versions of Marinette and Adrien, where Ladybug and Cat Noir are the **villains**. If you love a good hero-vs-evil-self storyline, this one is must-watch.

## Miraculous Season 5 Is Finally Here — But Wait, Doesn’t Netflix Already Show 6 Seasons?

Yes, and it’s confusing — don’t worry. Netflix has historically split the official broadcast seasons into smaller chunks on its platform. The **May 1st drop is the full broadcast Season 5**, which fans in France and Korea have had for a while. The rest of the world finally catches up.

This is the *Miraculous* franchise that [Wikipedia describes](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Miraculous:_Tales_of_Ladybug_%26_Cat_Noir) as a globally beloved French animated superhero series, and the numbers back it up — the show and its specials have racked up a jaw-dropping **926 million hours watched** on Netflix globally between 2023 and end-2025.

## What Miraculous Content Can You Watch on Netflix Right Now?

Perfect time for a binge before the new drops. Here’s what’s already streaming:

| Title | Year |
| --- | --- |
| Miraculous: Tales of Ladybug & Cat Noir (Main Series) | 2021 |
| Miraculous: Ladybug & Cat Noir, The Movie | 2023 |
| Miraculous World: New York, United Heroez | 2020 |
| Miraculous World: Shanghai, The Legend of LadyDragon | 2021 |
